about

(n)oise series is a collection of compositions that explore the concept and practice of noise in sound, performance, and music. The series was a long-term research and recording project by composer, improvisor, and curator Owen Davis. There are 10 works in the series, but this album is a collection of them that could be adequately captured by a microphone. Others exist in video form because they explore a visual and performative noise.
